It’s time to work prep for vacation.
I’m on vacation next week, but taking
time away from work also means you need to make sure there are no loose ends,
emails have been answered, the gift shop is stocked (part of my duties as merchandiser),
try to schedule deliveries for after my return, get any new or renewed
memberships cards out (part of my duties as membership coordinator), make sure
there will be someone to check on ticket/sponsorship sales for an upcoming
event, set the “out of office” on the email, and update the message on voice
mail. That is just what I can think of right now.
I’m sure on Saturday, my last
day before vacation, I’ll be going through the list in my mind, because once I’m
out the door, I’m not turning back until the 1st. I just plan to relax with my brother as we
celebrate his 50th birthday. There are some things planned like a
couple of nights in Lake Tahoe, but we’ll just see where the day takes us when
we don’t have to worry about the time.
Hope you have a great time!
