Time for Autumn

It’s autumn, the best time of the year!

Autumn arrived at 6:54 pm (PST) and I’m so happy about it, I’m taking a week off from work. Well, I didn’t plan it that way, but isn’t it a wonderful reason?

After months of hot temperatures, we finally get to say farewell to the heat, and hello to nights in which my fan is not cooling down the room. Fall also brings all the big holidays and events, a trip to Apple Hill for fruit fresh from the harvest, dressing up for Halloween, celebrating our loved ones who have passed during Dia de los Muertos, gathering together for Thanksgiving, decorating and spreading good cheer during Christmas, then ringing in the New Year.

I always feel once we get into September, the weeks just fly by. We start to get busy with all the events it can be hard to keep up. Work parties, friend’s parties, and family get-togethers, so many things are on the way, so just hold on tight and enjoy the ride.
